Occult HBV individuals can reactivate at background immunosuppressive or chemotherapies. with chronic liver diseases various aetiology significantly rises cirrhosis hepatic cancer. The association autoimmune extrahepatic gastrointestinal cancer needs a careful research to confirm possible involvement morbid genesis. Conclusio n. Kinetics of Hepatitis B Surface Antigen Level in Chronic Hepatitis B Patients who Achieved Hepatitis B Surface Antigen Loss during Pegylated Interferon Alpha-2a Treatment

BACKGROUND Hepatitis B surface antigen (HBsAg) loss/seroconversion is considered to be the ideal endpoint of antiviral therapy and the ultimate treatment goal in chronic hepatitis B (CHB). This study aimed to assess the patterns of HBsAg kinetics in CHB patients who achieved HBsAg loss during the treatment of pegylated interferon (PEG-IFN) α-2a. METHODS A total of 150 patients were enrolled, ...

Hepatitis B reactivation in a multiple myeloma patient with resolved hepatitis B infection during bortezomib therapy : case report.

It has recently been reported that hepatitis B virus (HBV) reactivation in patients with hepatitis B surface antigen (HBsAg)-negative lymphoma during or after cytotoxic therapy occurs after the use of rituximab and stem cell transplantation for hematologic malignancies. However, clinical data on HBV reactivation in multiple myeloma patients have not been extensively reported. This is the first ...
